Thanks for giving us arts geeks a place to feel at home. This is a really comfy place in which to root around for info and reviews, follow conversations and be part of a community. Bookmark this site, L.A.!

I sat next to Dany at the October 7 performance of ''November'' at the Mark Taper, and she told me about her site. Bravas to Dany for helping to make sure that, here in LA, ''the play's the thing.''

Dany!! I just heard about your website!! This looks amazing... is there anyway you could come see a show I am in??? It is called SHINER -- and it is the most challenging and rewarding piece of theatre I have ever done. We have been open for two weeks and we close on October 21st.... no one has come to review us yet! And it is such a shame... the play is amazing! Neil Patrick Stewart (2012 Ovation Best Director Nominee) has us doing things that I didn't know I could do... it is two hander and I play a 13 year old kid... here is a blurb.
In the spring of 1994, two outcast teens make a pact to die happy: see Nirvana at the Hollywood Bowl then jump off the 101 overpass together. But a first kiss, a restraining order and Kurt Cobain’s declining health threaten their plans. This grunge rock fueled love story was named this month to the Tracking Board’s Young and Hungry List, a roll of the top 100 Buzzworthy scripts of 2012.
you can email me and I can send you a press release as well...
SO MANY THANKS!!! Big hugs!!
